Centre of copacabana beach

Very good breakfast, great location, great roof pool. Great restaurants within walking distance. Beach 2 mins away. Staff were amazing and friendly.

Just some cosmetics of the room. Ceiling tiles not properly fitted and wall close to bathroom needed repairs/repainting.

It felt quite worn down and the doors/walls are very thin. Also, the breakfast doesn’t change except from juices and maybe one or two dishes.

The location is perfect. It’s just 2 blocks from the beach. Drugstores, supermarkets, pizza restaurants just a few steps away. Elevators worked great and have a decent size. The breakfast is the best perk, great variety of options. The pool on the rooftop is a huge plus too

The gym needs maintenance. Machines are broken. The rooms are indeed old. Bed sheets need change. I had booked a room with 2 beds and was given a one king bed room. Since our room had a window we could open side to side and had no smell we decided to stay there and ignore the fact that they gave us the wrong room. They do not speak English so come prepared to learn Portuguese We came during the Madonna concert so hotel was packed do not wait for the last hour to have breakfast you risk doing a huge line

Charge for holding bags in the deposit

Location

It was the very first time I see a hotel charge to hold your luggage for few hours. This was a ridiculous decision to make money out of Madonna’s show weekend. I have been in hotels ranging from 1* to 6*, and this was the first time a hotel charges for this service which should obviously be a courtesy. And this was not only after checkout but also for those who arrived early and had to wait to check in. Of course they were also charging for early check-in and late check-out, even though many rooms were already ready when we arrived at 11:00. Ridiculously making money out of nothing and nowhere else in the world charges for holding a bag for 2 hours!

Good hotel for a decent price close to Copacabana.

Very nice property, gym a bit outdated as well as the AC, but still a very pleasant stay, receptionists very helpful and lovely.

Maybe a slight improvement will be needed for the future, nonetheless enjoyed it.

Good for access to Copacabana but only view is from the windy rooftop.

The location was good for access to Copacabana beach and the inland shopping area. For moving outside the area, transport was relatively easy though traffic could be difficult in the immediate area surrounding the hotel. The room was comfortable and the necessary airconditioning worked well.

The hotel shows the signs of wear and tear. The hotel hosts a lot of people and receives a lot of large groups, which can be difficult to navigate at breakfast, in the reception, or waiting for the elevator., The signs to the staircases were not well marked or accessible, which could also be a safely concern. Most of the staff were great but there were a few who seemed a little tired of all the people. There was really no outdoor space to sit and have a quiet drink without buying drink on the very windy rooftop bar. We had taken a very special bottle for my friend's birthday and ended up drinking it in plastic glasses on the beach.

Great location, close to Copacabana Beach, stores and restaurants. The room is good although it seems a bit warn down. There is a fridge, AC and a TV. Breakfast is good.

The hotel seems to be warn down. One elevator didn't work, in the others the buttons didn't work well because they are so warn down. The bidet in the room didn't work. There is a gym in the facilities, but half of the machines are broken. There is no barbell and the heaviest dumbells are 20 kg. The cardio machines squeak and it seems that very soon they will fall apart too. The gym has an AC but it is too weak, and it feels like a sauna inside.

The staff was nice, answered my questions and helped me. The breakfast buffet options were diverse, abundant and fresh. Being a few blocks away from the beach was great. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean.

There was a bit of a humid smell in our room, probably related to the humid climate in Rio. The room would have been better with 1 extra chair or another small table to place things or to place the luggage and maybe one additional night stand. (There was 1 chair, a small desk, 1 small table and 1 small night stand).
